Available: September 24 – 30, 2023. Celebrate the Colors of Fall on this fun-filled six day adventure through the New England states.  Enjoy the award-winning sights and flavors in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

Day One
Upon arrival in Southern Vermont we are greeted by our local, knowledgeable guide who will be with us for the next six days. We check into our hotel for the next two nights and will enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. (D)

Day Two
Breakfast is served at the hotel this morning. Following breakfast we board the motorcoach for a delightful day of touring in the Green Mountains. Our first stop brings us to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill where we learn about the production of their delicious ciders, apple products and award-winning ciders. We then travel to charming downtown Stowe for lunch and shopping on our own. Following lunch we make our way to the historic Trapp Family Lodge for a picture stop at the home made famous by the Von Trapp’s of the “Sound of Music”. We end our afternoon with an ice cream treat at Vermont’s most famous ice cream factory, Ben & Jerry’s. We return to hotel to freshen up before dinner is served at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day Three
Breakfast is served at the hotel this morning. We board the motorcoach and begin our journey to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. This morning we visit the Billings Farm and Museum, where we visit the working dairy barns, horse barns, agricultural museum and the 1890 working farmhouse. We travel a short distance to Woodstock, VT for lunch and shopping on your own. Our next stop is for pictures at Quechee Gorge, “Vermont’s Little Grand Canyon”. Our final stop of the afternoon is a visit to the Red Kite Candy Factory where we will see first hand the production of their mouthwatering caramels. We arrive at our New Hampshire hotel and check in for the next two nights. Dinner is included this evening at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day Four
Breakfast is served at the hotel this morning. Boarding the motorcoach we set off through Franconia Notch and over the Kancamagus Highway, “voted one of the most Scenic Highways in the United States”, stopping for pictures before arriving at the Conway Scenic Railroad. We board the Mountaineer Train for a journey through the mountains to Crawford Notch. A picnic lunch is served on board. This afternoon we make a short trek to Cannon Mountain and ride the Tram car to the 4200′ summit for outstanding views of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. We return to the hotel to freshen up. Dinner is on your own this evening. (B,L)

Day Five
Breakfast is served at the hotel this morning. We board the motorcoach and make our way to the beautiful coast of Maine. We arrive in Freeport, Maine for lunch and shopping on our own. Be sure to visit the LL Bean Flagship store. Our next stop brings us to Portland, Maine where we are met by our local step on guide for a narrated scenic city tour to include Old Port, the Eastern and Western Promenades, Saco Bay, the Longfellow House and the Bug Light. Following the tour we check into our hotel for the next two evenings. Dinner is included this evening at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day Six
Breakfast is served at the hotel this morning. Boarding the coach we will explore the Southern coast of Maine. We enjoy a ride along Ocean Drive in Kennebunkport past Walker’s Point, the Summer home of the Bush Family and St. Ann’s by the Sea Episcopal Church. We arrive in Perkin’s Cove, Ogunquit where we enjoy lunch and shopping on your own. This afternoon we board FinestKind Cruises for a delightful lobster pulling cruise. Learn from the captains the techniques of lobster fishing while enjoying the spectacular coastal views. Our final stop today is for pictures at the Nubble Lighthouse before returning to the hotel. A traditional Maine Lobster dinner is included this evening. (B,D)

Day Seven
Breakfast is served at the hotel this morning. We board the coach for our journey home with many fond memories of the New England states.
