There is nothing more beautiful than the Christmas season in North Carolina.  This three-day package is the perfect way to experience Christmas at the historic Biltmore house, revel in a spectacular light display and explore the wonders of the Appalachians.

Day One:

Group arrival in Asheville, North Carolina.  Dinner is included this evening at a popular local restaurant.  Following dinner, we board the motorcoach for a visit to the “Winter Lights” at the North Carolina Arboretum.  This spectacular event which is currently operating as a drive-thru exhibit offers the brightest lights and displays and will leave you gasping with delight.

Day Two:

Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel.  Your morning begins with a fully guided city driving tour of Asheville’s highlights.  We will enjoy free time for lunch and shopping on your own in downtown Nashville.  After lunch, the group will have the option of either visiting the Grove Park Inn to view the National Gingerbread House Competition or enjoy a fascinating tour and tasting at Highland Brewing Company.  We finish up our day with the toe-tapping sounds of the Blue Ridge Mountain Opry while enjoying a delicious southern style Barbeque.  Sit back and enjoy the music or grab your partner and hit the dance floor.

Day Three:

Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel.  Following breakfast, we board the coach for a short journey to The Cove, Billy Graham’s Chatlos Memorial Chapel and Visitors Center with time allowed for reflection in Ruth’s Prayer Garden.  Next, we’ll make a stop at the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center to watch a short film and interact with the exhibits depicting the entire 469 miles of the historic Parkway.  Our final stop of the morning brings us to the Folk-Art Center.  A must see for all arts and crafts lovers, this Center features the finest traditional and contemporary crafts made in the Southern Appalachians.  Free time for lunch and shopping on your own in Historic Biltmore Village.  This afternoon we arrive at the gates of the historic Biltmore Estate, the luxurious family home of George and Edith Vanderbilt.  Your group will have the afternoon to visit Antler Hill Village and the Biltmore Winery before enjoying a delicious dinner on the grounds of the Estate.  After dinner we make our way to the Biltmore House for a breathtaking Candlelight tour through three floors and the basement of the 250-room chateau.

Day Four:

Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel.  Following breakfast, you board the motorcoach for your journey home with fond memories of the Christmas season in Asheville.
