THE HOLLER – Ole Smoky Moonshine

Day One:

Group arrival at our conveniently located award-winning Pigeon Forge hotel.  Tonight, we enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner at the hotel followed by a private “Hills and Hollers” performance.  This performance is a unique blend of song and storytelling featuring local talent.

Day Two:

Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel.  Following breakfast, we set out for a day at Dollywood – spanning over 160 acres the park is filled with amusement rides, entertaining daily shows and performances and multiple restaurants.  Lunch is on your own today.  We end our evening at the Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Show.  This spectacular event features friendly North vs. South competition, thrilling horse riding stunts, special effects, and amazing musical productions.

Day Three:

Breakfast is included at the hotel this morning.  This morning we will be joined by our knowledgeable local guide for a scenic driving tour of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  We finish out the morning with a guided tour of the Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery, aka “The Holler”.  Here you will view authentic working moonshine stills and learn the entire process of making moonshine from start to finish.  The distillers will provide a brief history and answer questions about the “lore” of moonshining.  Free time for lunch and shopping on your own in Gatlinburg.  This afternoon we make our way to Anakeesta, towering high above downtown Gatlinburg.  We enjoy a chondola ride to the summit where you can stroll along the Treetop Skywalk, visit the shops, or just sit back and revel in the spectacular 360-degree views of the neighboring mountains.  Dinner is included this evening.
