Sugar Tours, Inc. has been operating group travel in Vermont since 1998. Our featured tours include history, culinary and general sightseeing. All of our tours are escorted by trained Vermont guides.
Half Day Tours (5 Hours)
Today we travel to historic Bennington, Vermont. Our first stop this morning takes us to the Bennington Museum (Home of the Grandma Moses Schoolhouse) where you will have time to explore their fabulous collection of pottery, glass, furniture, early American History, and their collection of Grandma Moses Paintings. Next, enjoy a trip to the top of the Bennington Monument (Vermont’s Highest Building) where you can enjoy spectacular views of southern Vermont and New York. Lunch is on your own in the town of Bennington before returning to the Equinox Resort.

Calvin Coolidge Homestead/Vermont Country Store Weston
This morning we travel to the Calvin Coolidge Homestead in Plymouth, VT. Here you will have time to explore this charming town and birthplace of our 30th President of the United States. The homestead includes his home, barns, Plymouth Cheese Company, General Store, and museum. This is self-guided tour and docents are available in many locations throughout the town. Lunch is on your own in either Ludlow or Weston. We conclude our day with a visit to the Vermont Country Store for a little shopping and sampling. We return to the resort following our visit.
