Day One

An early departure for the City of Brotherly Love.  We arrive in the city around 2:00 PM.  Our first stop takes us to the Liberty Bell Museum followed by a guided tour of the city.  See the beautiful murals, Independence Hall, Fairmount Park, and much more.  Check into the Holiday Inn Express for the next two evenings.  We walk to a popular local restaurant for a fabulous dinner.

Day Two

Breakfast is included at the hotel this morning.   Today we enjoy a day of touring through the city.   Our first stop takes us to the Philadelphia Museum of Art for exploration on your own.  Next we visit the historic Reading Terminal where you can enjoy lunch on your own.  Mouth-watering aromas.  Locally grown and exotic produce.  Amish specialties.  Fresh meats, seafood, and poultry.  Handmade confections and baked goods straight from the oven. Everything you need to create a memorable meal, from cookbooks, to table linens, to kitchenware, to fresh cut flowers, and more. Plus the widest variety of restaurants under one roof. Find it all at Philadelphia’s historic public market, the Reading Terminal Market!  This afternoon we travel to the Franklin Institute or the Philadelphia Zoo (Oldest in the United States) for our afternoon activity. Dinner this evening will be served on the Moshulu or Spirit of Philadelphia on the Delaware River.
