Day One

Today we journey to the Green Mountains of Vermont. Upon your arrival you will be greeted by your local guide and staff with Welcome Cider and Cookies in the lobby. A wonderful dinner is included this evening in the hotel dining room. Relax and enjoy the amenities of the hotel. (D)

Day Two

A hearty breakfast is served before we begin a day of touring. This morning we travel to the Rock of Ages Granite Quarry. This morning we tour the 600′ deep quarry, visit the granite museum and see artisans at work. Next we travel to Montpelier (Vermont’s State Capital) where you will have some free time for lunch and shopping on your own. This afternoon we enjoy a visit to the Morse Sugar Farm to learn about maple sugaring followed by a traditional sugar-on-snow. Another wonderful dinner is included at the resort. (B,D)

Day Three

Following breakfast, we board the coach for a journey through the Champlain Valley. Our first stop this morning takes us to Dakin Farms (Vermont’s Tastiest Attraction) where you will have a chance to sample their delicious smoked meats and cheeses. Next we travel to the city of Burlington for a drive through the University of Vermont and Champlain College. You will have time to enjoy lunch and shopping on your own at the historic Church Street Marketplace. This afternoon we visit the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory where you will see how our furry friends are made. Tonight we enjoy a wonderful farewell dinner served in The Castle. (B,D)

Day Four

After breakfast, we begin our journey home taking with us many fond memories of our time in Vermont!! (B)
